How Clients Sign up on Secro?
There are two ways:
1. Email Invite from Secro
Secro CS Manager will set up the company account in the back-end and trigger email invite to account administrator (user nominated by your company to act as account admin user). Upon receipt, the admin user will be required to complete company’s onboarding including KYB and AML checks, and accept Secro website’s Terms and Conditions.
Step 1: Email invite
- Admin User receives an email invitation from Secro, with temporary password and a link to the onboarding process.
Step 2: Admin User set up
- Admin User will be required to:
- Acknowledge Privacy Policy.
- Accept Terms and Condition.
- Create a new password.
- Verify their identity (2FA).
Step 3: KYB verification
- KYB check is run real-time by the third-party provider. Results appear in seconds.
Step 4: AML verification
- AML check is run real-time by the third-party provider. Results appear in seconds. The company must pass the AML check to use Secro service.
2. Email Invite from the Existing Secro User- Invite Trading Partner
As a current Secro user, you have the option to invite your network (supplier, buyer, carrier, or agent) to join you on our platform using the "Invite Trading Partner" feature. To get started, simply fill out a straightforward form with your trading partner's company details.
Once submitted, our system will generate an email invite, which will be sent to the specified email address of the invitee. The invitee will then be guided through a simple onboarding process, which includes verifying company details, conducting user KYC and AML checks, and accepting the website's Terms and Conditions.
After completing this process, your trading partner will gain access to the platform, enabling seamless collaboration on documents and transactions with you.
Trading Partner onboarding step by step:
Step 1: Email invite
- Fill out the "Invite Trading Partner" form on the platform.
- Once the form is complete, it will trigger an email invite to the user from the partner company you are inviting.
Step 2: User* set up
- User needs to:
- Acknowledge Privacy Policy.
- Accept Terms and Condition.
- Create a new password.
- Verify their identity (2FA).
- Review company details, and make updates, if needed.
*COMPANY OFFICER: The user with the access level to modules of the platform including VAULT, and therefore, can sign, transfer, and endorse eBL.
Step 3: KYC verification
- KYC verification of the user is run real-time by the third-party provider. Results appear in seconds.
Step 4: AML verification
- AML user verification is run real-time by the third-party provider. Results appear in seconds. The user must pass the AML check to use Secro service.
